Earlier this week, Ralph Lauren hosted a fashion show for
his children’s fall collection at New York Public Library. Of the many adorable
children walking the runway in his designs, one was Alicia Keys’ three-year-old
son, Egypt Dean. Of course Alicia was
there to watch along with the other celebrities whose children were also
modeling the line. Not only was Ralph Lauren’s event full of cute, fashionable
kids, but it also marked the beginning of his brand’s new fundraising for
literacy. Percentages of sales from the new Polo Pony t-shirt along with the
fall line will be dedicated to an organization that provides reading support
and books to those children without, called Reach Out & Read. Be inspired.
