Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Footwork Friday

By Marla
Generally, fall weather is not too cool but not too hot. So why not show off a little manicured toes? Peep toe is a definite go to look for a fall wedding. I think it's safe to say that nude is the new white when it comes to wedding shoes. It strays a little from tradition but is still classic for any style of wedding dress. These peep toe pumps can also be paired with bows, rhinestones, shoes clips, and additional straps or wraps. Be inspired.

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | HalloWedding

By Marla
Halloween is a perfect day for a wedding! Yes, I said it... But it's true! It's a fun night filled with the thrilling feeling of having a celebration with family and friends. Halloween is an easy decorative theme to apply in a wedding. Now, you do not have to go scary with all the decor! However, adding little hints of the holiday will do the trick and be a treat for your guests to see! A signature drink is always something guests enjoy. A halloween drink can be titled as "Witches Brew" "Fruit Bat Martini" is a way to incorporate the theme. Signature drinks are a great way to save money when on a tight budget. Stick with warm colors, not just black and orange! Have a candy table with Halloween candy and stationary This is a theme that can be chic and perfect to celebrate your day of "death do you part!" Be inspired.

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | D - I - Why Knot String Art

By Marla
Incorporating these string woven boards is the latest trend of decoration for weddings. This project can be done with any word, name, saying, or symbol! Most of the items needed for this DIY project can be found at your local arts and crafts store. You can choose any color yarn or string you'd like. I would recommend using your wedding color palette! The wooden planks or a hard surface board can either be found at a hardware store... depending on what you're looking for.  This can be used for the table numbers, to highlight the guest sign-in book, at the head table, and as a keepsake at the new love birds home! Be inspired.

As soon as a guest of a wedding is seated at the reception they look at the menu. Now, there are many different ways to present the centerpieces and folding the napkin, so why not do something creative to the menus to WOW your guests? There are so many different formats, and folding of the menus. It's a chic way to add a touch of your wedding color palette. It's very unique to see a mix of bold colors, patters, and different printed material used to present your menu to guests. Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Footwork Friday

By Marla
Diamonds are forever! These dazzling shoes are perfect for a bride on her wedding day. Wearing a diamond pump is a great way to stand out but not stray too far from the traditional ivory wedding shoe. This also could be a great DIY project! You can personalize your shoe by using rhinestones and beads from your local craft store, and assemble them yourself. If you really want to be bold, you could use different color stones to incorporate your color palette! This is a chic way to wear a little glitz on your special day... and diamonds are a girls best friend. Be inspired.

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Black and Gold

By Marla
In celebration of the Pittsburgh Pirates winning baseball season, I thought a black and gold color scheme would be the inspiration to this blog post. In Pittsburgh, a lot of people want to stay away from combining the colors black and gold on their special day because they believe guests will link it to the city's team colors. However, when arranged in the right way black and gold can be a very glamorous color palette. In the pictures below it shows a few different ways to style your wedding with this color theme. For an antique look add lace with darker brushed gold accents, and use black to make the gold pop... If you want a more traditional theme, keep it simple with stripes and bright gold accessories. Both of these looks are elegantly paired together in black and gold. Both settings are warm, welcoming, chic, and perfect for a fall season wedding. Be inspired.

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Tulips Wedding

By Marla
Tulips are one of the most versatile wedding flowers. They come in just about every shade of cool or warm colors, which makes the tulip suitable for any season. The flower can be used while they are still buds or when they are fully bloomed. Together they create beautiful flower arrangements that can be formed in any shape round, ball, square, straight line, tear drop, ect. Also they make a great pair to other flowers such as hydrangea and peony for the bridal bouquet. Mix and match like colors or be bold with warm multicolors. Be inspired.

This stylish pump is a great pic for a fall wedding. Dolce Vita is the designer of this four inch pointed-toe heel. The two tone black and white colors are a perfect match for a autumn season wedding with the closed toe front. Also, the geometric cutout of the ankle material includes a zip-up back, which add more support while walking the aisle on your special day. This shoe is a sharp, fashionable, unexpected wedding shoe. Be inspired.

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Unique Seating Charts

By Marla
There are so many different ways to present a seating chart. The traditional way is to get your guests fames printed on cards that are organized in alphabetical order in lines, or in a round. Though that works out, it can be expensive to print and time consuming to organize. Also, don't you want to do something that's a little different? These ideas are a great new way for guests to find their seats easily and is easy on your budget. These most likely would be a DIY project so you could add your creative touch to the chart. Each chart is unique in their own unique way but my personal favorite are the window charts, and the flowered tree chart. This is a perfect way to save a little money and to have a personal, creative touch to your wedding. Be inpsired.
