Pittsburgh Wedding Planner | Outdoor Fall Ceremony

By: Meredith

If you have your heart set on an outdoor wedding and reception, but do not want your guests to freeze in the chilly fall temperatures, consider only an outside ceremony, and then move guests inside for the coctail hour and the reception.  An outdoor ceremony gives you the chance to celebrate part of your day outside.  The leaves will be changing colors and there will be a beautiful fall sunset in the sky, the ceremony will be sure to be picturesque.  If you are still worried about your guests feeling cold outside, inquire as to if your venue is equipped with space heaters.  An outdoor ceremony venue and an inside reception venue is a great way to switch things up for your guests and have two perfect venue spaces.  Be Inspired!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner - Garden Party Wedding Dresses

By: Meredith

With summer coming to an end, outdoor garden weddings will also soon be coming to a close.  Though the scenery of blooming flowers, and bright green freshly mowed grass in an outdoor wedding is beautiful, I find that the bride’s dress always seems to stand out the most.  The image of a blushing bride in a beautiful wedding gown always seems to steal the show from the rest of the scenery around her.  So, before it is too late, let’s take a look at some gorgeous wedding gowns fit for a garden party.  Be inspired!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner- Looks For Your Groom

*by: Hope*   Listen up grooms, this is your time to shine! Because we all know there is nothing {SHE} loves more than a stylish looking groom waiting for her at the end of the aisle. We have built four stylish categories that will inspire any groom.

1. The Formal Groom- The formal look is comprised of a tuxedo, cummerbund or vest, and a bow tie. Add cufflinks and pocket silks to this look to really make it your own!

A white dinner jacket is definitely a show stopper, and will compliment the bride wonderfully.

2. The Modern Groom- Start this look off with a tailored suit and new dress shoes. Get creative by mixing patterns and colors that compliment the color palette of your wedding.

3. The Casual Groom- No jacket, no problem. For a more casual wedding consider leaving the jacket behind and accenting the look with suspenders and patterns!

A matching vest really makes this outfit reusable after the wedding!

4. The Beach Groom- Stick with light weight fabrics like linen to really keep you cool on the big day.

When it comes to shoes go barefoot, sandals, or a canvas shoe. Either way make sure you will be comfortable on the hot sand!

Pittsburgh Wedding Planner - SHE Weddings

By: Meredith

Happy Monday from the ladies at SHE!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend; we have been super busy with two fabulous weddings!  Our first wedding was in celebration of Nicole and Chris, and was held at the Omni William Penn.  The reception was so beautiful and simply chic!  Our second wedding was held at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, and was a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony and reception for Tiffany and Jimil!  Each wedding had amazing flowers, color accents, and of course beautiful brides and grooms.  On behalf of SHE, we would like to congratulate Nicole and Chris, and Tiffany and Jimil and wish them a lifetime of happiness and love.  Be inspired.
